Welcoming the Fire Horse Year

After shedding the skin of the Earth Snake year, a year asked for slowness, digestion and an honest reckoning with what could no longer be sustained. The question is no longer what needs to be released but what is now ready to move.

Much of the earth snake shedding happened quietly – think habits, structures annd identities that simply stopped fitting. What remains now is leaner, clearer and more precise.

The Fire Horse takes what has already been integrated and gives it momentum.

The last time this pairing appeared was in 1966, a year marked by visible cultural, political, and social shifts. When Fire Horse energy moves collectively, change tends to surface quickly and publicly.
